Hip Osteoarthritis Trial:
We are conducting a trial to measure the longevity of relief in the treatment of hip osteoarthritis using chiropractic care and a simple exercise protocol.
You may be eligible if you are:
- 60 to 85 years old* or 40 to 59 years old
- Able to stand and walk without support
- Have hip pain in the anterior thigh and/or groin
Study participation involves:
- All exams, x-rays and treatment free of charge
- A complete physical and functional examination and 2 view hip x-rays
- 9 chiropractic treatments with exercises over 4-6 weeks
- 3 follow-up appointments to collect outcome measures
- Enrollment in follow-up study allows up to 6 free treatments over approximately 8 more months
- Monetary compensation to offset the cost and time of travel
