Learning is not limited to the classroom at Cleveland. You will have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge base by pursuing internships at off-site health centers in both Kansas City and Los Angeles. Cleveland students learn about health and wellness in the classroom, and they are putting that knowledge to use at the Kansas City Free Health Clinic, where CCCKC student interns provide chiropractic care to needy residents of Kansas City. The result is a program that allows the interns to gain clinical experience away from campus, while providing relief for those who are most in need of their services. Dr. Clark Beckley, director of campus and professional relations on the Kansas City campus, is pleased with the opportunities the program provides for the College.
“This is another example of the College fulfilling its service mission,” Beckley said. “And it is an opportunity to promote our service theme of contributing to public health, education and wellness.”
