• Career Day – Representatives from a variety of professional organizations and companies visit the campus to display their products and answer questions about their services.
• Career Workshops – Course topics include preceptorships, resume writing, interviewing skills, business resources and continuing education.
• Alumni Mentoring – Members of the CCCLA Alumni Association Board of Directors advise students during their on-campus Mentoring Program. There is also a list available of additional alumni whom you may contact on your own to ask questions and potentially schedule a visit to their office to learn more about the chiropractic profession.
• Employment Opportunities – In addition to the job board in the Office of Student and Alumni Relations, there is a free service on the CCC website (www.cleveland.edu) featuring online listings of nationwide employment opportunities, practices for sale and equipment for purchase.
• Resource Library – Among the material available at no cost is information on licensing requirements, starting/buying/selling a practice, salary surveys, business plans and start-up financing.
• Resume Writing/Job Preparation – Assistance is provided in creating a professional resume, along with training in job searching skills and interviewing techniques.
